Mrs. Parish graduated with a Bachelors Degree Education, Major: Learning Disabilities and Minor, Reading Specialist from Aquinas College.
She also has her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (principal) from Western Michigan University.
Mrs. Parish taught Special Education K-3 for 5 years in Kalamazoo with Kalamazoo Public Schools. She also taught another 6 years of Special Education with Grandville (K-6). This is her 2nd year of teaching 6th grade. She teaches Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Mrs. Parish is a member of West Elementary's School Improvement Team and also a member of our schools Math Committee. She, along with her teaching partner, also run the 6th grade Student Council.
